Brandon, based in our Washington DC office, has more than 5 years of experience across a wide range of traffic and transportation projects including traffic impact studies, traffic modeling and simulation, site access and circulation planning, loading dock design, traffic studies, traffic signal design, pavement marking and signing design, roadway lighting photometrics analysis and electrical design, ITS interconnect communications design, and temporary traffic control design. Dr. Zhang has been involved with various types of public projects including light rail design-build, interstate highway reconstruction, roadway and bridge tunnel design-build, and private projects including mixed-use developments, residential developments, commercial and retail developments, office developments, educational institutions, and government facilities throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. Dr. Zhang is an active member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers, a Professional Engineer licensed in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC, and a registered Professional Traffic Operations Engineer.

Brandon was born and raised in China and has spent over ten years in the US. He enjoys spending time with his wife in their suburban Maryland home. Outside of the office, he likes playing and watching various ball games, cooking foods during restful weekends, hiking in national and state parks, and exploring the rich recreational and cultural activities and events that the DC area offers.
