Drew is a transportation planner in Gorove Slade’s Washington, DC office. His background includes experience in multimodal planning, organizing field data collection and traffic counts, transportation demand management (TDM) planning, site planning and circulation design, and working in compliance with special use permit requirements. He has worked with schools on personal vehicle pick-up/drop-off procedures and school bus curbside management. Drew has been responsible for future trip generation/traffic analysis/capacity analysis, parking capacity analysis, preparation of signal warrant analysis, preparation of Transportation Impact Analysis (TIA) and other transportation planning efforts across a variety of projects in the District and northern Virginia.
A former fire sprinkler system designer, Drew joined Gorove Slade after discovering a passion for multimodal transportation and earning a Master of Sustainable Transportation. He is particularly interested in projects that improve the pedestrian and bicycle networks and is a member of the Association of Pedestrian & Bicycle Professionals (APBP).
Drew is a Prince George’s County, Maryland native now living in DC’s H Street neighborhood with his wife and two children. He enjoys walking his dog Lucy, racking up Capital Bikeshare Angel Points, and seeking out DC’s best coffee and sandwich shops.
