Jerome is a project transportation planner in Gorove Slade’s Fairfax, Virginia office, with over three years of experience. His background includes experience in multi-modal planning, parking analysis, bus operations, rail operations, and site analysis with respect to transportation. He has been responsible for traffic impact studies, signal warrant analyses, parking and trip generation analyses, turn lane warrant assessments, roundabout feasibility assessments, access management assessments, crosswalk assessments, traffic operations analyses, site access and circulation planning, field data collection and analysis, and other transportation planning efforts across a variety of jurisdictions in northern Virginia and beyond, with a focus in and around Prince William County. He has been involved with various types of projects including mixed-use developments, commercial and retail developments, residential developments, industrial and waste management developments, and gas station developments. His software application proficiencies include ArcGIS, Highway Capacity Software, Trafficware Synchro 10.0/SimTraffic, SIDRA, PTV Vistro, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite. Jerome is a member of the Virginia Chapter of the American Planning Association, and earned his AICP credential.

Jerome is originally from Fort Worth, Texas, and, after spending time living in New York, NY and Washington, DC, now resides with his wife in Haymarket, Virginia, where they enjoy the walkability of the town and access to parks and nature preserves in the area with their young children. He is a loyal sports fan, with a keen interest in football and soccer, and especially enjoys hiking, biking, and playing soccer and softball. Jerome was selected as the “Haymarket MVP” during the 2021 Gorove Slade May Mile Challenge.
