She has experience working in Arlington County, City of Alexandria, Fairfax County, City of Fairfax, City of Falls Church, Loudoun County, Prince William County, Stafford County, Caroline County, City of Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania County, Culpeper County, Town of Dumfries, Town of Vienna, City of Manassas, City of Manassas Park, Town of Herndon, Town of Haymarket, Culpeper County and other. She is primarily responsible for management of projects in Prince William County and counties located along the I-95 corridor.
Her areas of expertise include traffic impact studies, parking studies, safety studies, school zone speed limit studies, speed studies, signal warrant and justification studies, multi-way stop studies, microsimulation studies, roundabout studies, corridor studies, access management assessment studies, turn lane assessment studies, crosswalk studies at signalized and unsignalized intersections, signal design, signal timing studies, and left turn studies. Niraja is known for her microsimulation skills, specially working on projects involving the use of VISSIM as an analysis tool.
