Derek Talbott
Transportation Engineer
Derek, home to the Richmond office, diligently supports the clients of the central Virginia area. He applies his talents in Synchro, SimTraffic, and SIDRA to traffic impact analyses, parking studies, and access management exception projects. Derek is passionate about the rapid transformation of our conveyance infrastructure and how transportation technologies can bring us all together safely and efficiently.
As a Virginia Tech Alum, graduate from the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets, and an active member in the Virginia Army National Guard, Derek dedicates himself to service to his community. From his service, he understands just how spectacular a healthy, positive, and productive team can be, and its impact on the morale and welfare of an organization.
When not supporting our clients and serving in the National Guard, he spends his free time hiking, camping, working out, or playing video games. Derek enjoys fall and college football.
