Dan leads our Alexandria office with more than 25 years of experience in a wide range of traffic and transportation projects including transportation impact studies, site access and circulation planning, campus master planning, parking demand analysis, corridor studies, major data collection efforts, loading dock design, intersection improvement design, functional parking lot and garage design, and expert witness testimony. He has worked for public, private and institutional clients throughout the United States and has worked on projects internationally. His market practice area includes urban projects in the District of Columbia, Arlington and Alexandria, and large master planning projects.

Dan is an active member of NAIOP, the DC Building Industry Association, Lambda Alpha International, the Institute of Transportation Engineers, the Society for College and University Planning, and the International Council of Shopping Centers. He has facilitated a webinar for the Institute of Transportation Engineers on Multimodal Site Selection and Design for Grade Schools that was sponsored by the National Center for Safe Routes to Schools. He has also assisted with urban planning design labs at the University of Maryland School of Architecture.

A West Virginia native and adopted Panamanian by marriage, Dan lives in Alexandria. Outside of the office he enjoys spending time with his wife, two children and dog taking in all the rich amenities that the DC area offers.
