Project Transportation Engineer
John joined Gorove Slade’s Fairfax office as a project transportation engineer in 2026. He brings previous experience performing traffic capacity analysis, traffic safety data analysis, and traffic safety field investigation for public clients. He is proficient in Synchro, SimTraffic, and ArcGIS. John performs traffic impact analyses in Northern Virginia and is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE).
Originally from Mississippi, John lives in Fairfax County and appreciates the strong cultural diversity of Northern Virginia. He enjoys watching films, exploring new cities, and keeping up with exciting developments in transportation around the world. He is currently struggling to learn a golf swing.
