She is based in the Fairfax, VA office and her work covers a number of jurisdictions in Northern Virginia with a focus on Fairfax County and Prince William County. She has been involved with various types of projects including large mixed-use developments, transit-oriented developments, office developments, residential developments, and industrial developments throughout Virginia. She is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE).
Originally from Southern Illinois, Kayla has found she now enjoys exploring DC and Northern Virginia. She likes playing soccer, baking and trying new foods. As a big Purdue fan, she partakes (along with all the other Big Ten alumni/fans in the office) in debating on who’s team will be superior each year in hopes that one day it will be the Boilermakers! As a member of the “funtivity” committee, she helps create many of the events Gorove Slade hosts throughout the year.
