E-mail: Kat joined Gorove Slade with 6 years of transportation and roadway design experience, specifying in intersection reconstruction and ADA design. Working out of the DC office, she will use her wide array of design experience to help serve signal design projects, traffic control plans, and pavement marking and signing projects throughout the DMV area. Kat is also an active member of WTS-DC and has a passion for introducing young women to STEM careers and retaining them in the workforce throughout their careers.
Originally from Rochester, NY, Kat lived in Minneapolis, MN for 5 years and ultimately ended up back on the east coast in Arlington, VA. Outside of work, Kat plays semi-professional ultimate frisbee with the DC Shadow, coaches a few youth ultimate teams, and loves playing on rec sports leagues (soccer, pickleball, dodgeball, you name it!)
