When completed in 2018, Audi Field will be the Buzzard Point home for D.C. United, the District of Columbia’s major league soccer franchise.  Audi Field will hold 20,000 spectators on game day, and onsite will also be 500,000 square feet of retail and residential, making it a year-round destination.

Gorove Slade served as the transportation consultants for the project. This work included preparing a transportation management plan (TMP) that helped guide the overall transportation strategy of the site and give input to the stadium’s architects. Working with the architect and its team, Gorove Slade prepared the necessary documentation and analysis needed for the stadium’s Planned Unit Development (PUD) application to the DC Zoning Commission.

Gorove Slade helped DC United work with the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) to help their review of the project’s transportation aspects. Gorove Slade testified at the Zoning Commission on behalf of the team and helped gain final approvals for the stadium.
