Erwin has over 25 years of experience working on a wide range of traffic and transportation projects serving private sector, public sector, institutional, and federal agency clients in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. His experience has been geared to serve the strategic development needs of private developers, address local jurisdictional approval requirements for federal agency clients, and develop sound transportation operational and management plans for institutional clients. He has testified as an expert witness before public zoning boards and commissions locally in the District of Columbia, Montgomery County, and Prince George’s County, as well as in various jurisdictions in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.
Erwin is a Board Member and Past President of the local chapter of Lambda Alpha International, a land economics honor society. He has taught transportation planning seminars for the Master’s Program in Real Estate at both Georgetown University and the University of Maryland and has been involved in mentoring undergraduates at the George Mason University School of Business. Erwin has participated in several ULI panels that include the Advisory Services Panel in Irvington, IN and Technical Assistance Panels for North Capitol Main Street and for the Reimagining of Friendship Heights.
